If a mod 3 = 1 and b mod 3 = 2 , where a,b∈ N, then choose the set of correct options

Therefore, value of a should be 4, 7, 10 and so on

any natural no. that gives 1 as remainder when divided by 3.

Similarly,

Value of b should be 5, 8, 11, and so on

any natural no. that gives 2 as remainder when divided by 3.

Hence,

putting the corresponding values we get option b, c & d CORRECT.
