let p= principal amount

principal amount + interest = total amount

p + (p×n×r)/100 = 1950

here n=6 , r= 5%

take p common and find value of p

p ( 1 + (6×5)/100) = 1950

p = 1950× 10/13

p = 1500 Rs

amount after 8 years

principal amount + 8 year interest

= 1500 + (p×n×r)/100

= 1500 + (1500×8×5)/100

= 2100 Rs
