If a number cube is rolled once and coin is tossed once. What is the probability that the coin will show tails and composite number on the cube?

total number of outcomes = 2×6=12

because for coin you have 2 outcomes and for cube you have 6 outcomes.

number of favourable cases =1×2=2

this is because you have 2 composite numbers i.e. 4 and 6 and you can have tails in only 1 way.

so probability=2/12=1/6(ans)
