if a number is divisible by 2 and 3 then it is also divisible by 6. so if a number divisible by 2 and 4, it must be divisible by 8 right or wrong ?​

It's not totally right at all.

2 and 3 are prime numbers. So they are prime factors of any number. Therefore if any number is divisible by 2 & 3 both then it will be divisible by 6.

But 4 is not a prime number / prime factor. And 2 is also a factor of 4. Therefore if a number is divisible by 2 & 4 both then also it is not necessary that it will be divisible by 8 also.

For example :- 12 is divisible by both 2 &. 4 but it is not divisible by 8.
