If a number is thrice the other and their sum is 68 find the answer withe help of simultaneous linear equation method

Let the first no be -x
2nd no be 3rice to other - 3x
Their sum - 68
x+3x=68
4x=68
X=17
Then first no is 17
And 2nd no is 51
