Let the required number be x.

Atq,

$\: \: \: \: \: \: \: (3 \times x) + 5= 50 \\ = > 3x + 5 = 50 \\ = > 3x = 50 - 5 \\ = > 3x = 45 \\ = > x = \frac{45}{3} \\ = > x = 15$

Hence, the required number = 15
