Answer: 216

Step-by-step explanation:

27 is cube of 3

64 is cube of 4

125 is cube of 5

So the next number in the pattern must be cube of 6.

Therefore, y=6^3=216

Answer ⇒ y = 216.

Solution ⇒ This is very easy question. We need to think that every number is a cube of consecutive numbers. For example, 27 is cube of 3, and so on.

27 = Cube of 3.

64 = Cube of 4.

125 = Cube of 5

This means, each term is the cube of number which  is in A.P., thus, next number whose cube should be find is 6.

Therefore,  y = Cube of 6.

Cube of 6 = 6 × 6 × 6 = 216

Hence, Value of y is 216.

Hope it helps.
