Answer:

The fundamental frequency is 200 Hz

Explanation:

Given as :

The length of open organ pipe = l = 85 cm = 0.85 m

The velocity of sound = 340 m/s

Let The fundamental frequency = f Hz

According to question

frequency = \dfrac{velocity of sound}{2 length of pipe}

i.e  f = \dfrac{340 m/s}{2 \times 0.85 m}

Or, f = \dfrac{340}{1.7}

∴  f = 200 Hz

So, The fundamental frequency = f = 200 Hz

Hence, The fundamental frequency is 200 Hz Answer

Answer:

0.04

Explanation:

given

length of pipe 85cm 85*10^-2m

velocity 340m/s

fundamental frequency v/2l/

340/85*10^-2= 4/10^-2 = 0.04
