Answer :-

  • The larger angle is 63°.

Given :-

  • Pair of complementary angles in the ratio 3 : 7.

To Find :-

  • Larger angle.

Solution :-

• Put x in the ratio

→ Angles are

  • 3x
  • 7x

As we know that

Sum of two complementary angles is 90°.

According to question :-

⇒ 3x + 7x = 90

⇒ 10x = 90

⇒ x = 90/10

⇒ x = 9

Put the value of x in the ratio

  • First angle = 3x = 3 × 9 = 27°
  • Second angle = 7x = 7 × 9 = 63°

Hence, the larger angle is 63°.
