if a parallelogram and triangle are on the same base and between the same parallels,then prove that area of a triangle to half the area of the parallelogram

height of triangle = height of parallelogram = H

area of parallelogram = B x H

area of triangle = 1/2 x B x H 
                      = 1/2 x Area of parallelogram
