Frequency: It is the number of oscillations made by the body in one second.

Time Period: It is the time taken by a body to complete one oscillation.

Explanation:

So if it takes 5seconds for 20 oscillations

Frequency= No. of oscillation/time taken

=20/5=4hz

Time period = 1/frequency

= 2.5

Hence the frequency is 4hz and time period is 2.5seconds
