here is your

step by step explanation

since perimeter of rectangle = 2×(l+b)

so, perimeter/2 = l+b

so length = (perimeter ÷ 2) – breadth

hope it helps

we know that

perimeter = 2(l+b)

so, P= 2(l+b)

will be used and put the value given into it and you will get your answer

moku89: but tell me full process
moku89: step by step
moku89: now not need to explain .....i got it
K123krishna: let, perimeter is given 24 cm and breadth = 10 cm then, by applying the formula, 24 = 2(l+10) | or, 12= l+10 | or, l = 12-10 = 2
moku89: yeah i got it
moku89: thanks for the help
K123krishna: ok, because there is not any particular formula for getting the length. we use this formula to obtain length, breadth and perimeter
K123krishna: all of them can be obtained by a single formula
moku89: okk
moku89: thanks
