if the perimeter of a equilateral triangle is 180 cm , that means each side is of measure 60 cm.

area

 =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}   \times  {side}^{2}  \\  =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  \times 60 \times 60 \\  =  \sqrt{3}  \times 15 \times 60 \\  = 900 \times  \sqrt{3}  \\  = 900 \sqrt{3}

hope it helps you...

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter of equilateral triangle =3s

180 =3s

So,

S=180/3

S=60cm

Area of equilateral triangle =√3/4*s*s

=√3/4*60*60

=90√3 cm2
