Correct Question :-

If a Perimeter of a rectangle is 450 m and the length is twice its breath, then find the length, breadth and area of the same rectangle.

Solution :-

Given,

Perimeter of rectangle = 450 m

Let us assume that Breadth = x

So,

Length = 2x

\boxed{\sf{\purple{P = 2(l+b)}}}

So,

450 = 2(2x + x)

⟹ 450 = 2(3x)

⟹ 450 = 6x

⟹ x = {\frac{450}{6}}

⟹ x = 75

Let us put the value of x

Length = 2x = 2(75) = 150 m

Breadth = x = 75 m

Now let us find the area,

\boxed{\sf{\purple{A = l\times b}}}

Area = 150 × 75

= 11,250 m²

Required Answer :-

Length of the rectangle = 150 m

Breadth of the rectangle = 75 m

Area of the rectangle = 11,250 m²

If the Perimeter of a rectangle is 450 square and the length is twice it's breath, then find the length, breadth and area of the same rectangle.

\huge\bf\underline{Given :-}

Perimeter of rectangle = 450 m

Let us assume that Breadth = x

\large\bf\underline{So,}

Length = 2x

\boxed{\purple{\bf{P\:=\:2(a\:+\:b)}}}

\large\bf\underline{So,}

450 = 2(2x + x)

⟹ 450 = 2(3x)

⟹ 450 = 6x

⟹ x = 450/6

⟹ x = 75

Let us put the value of x

Length = 2x = 2(75) = 150 m

Breadth = x = 75

Now let us find the area,

\boxed{\purple{\bf{A\:=\:l\:×\:b}}}

Area = 150 × 75

= 11,250 m²

\huge\bf\underline{Required\: Answer :-}

Length of the rectangle = 150 m

Breadth of the rectangle = 75 m

Area of the rectangle = 11,250 m²
