let the length be x

perimeter of □ = 2(l+b)

194 = 2( x + 37 )

97 = x + 37

x = 97 - 37

x = 60 m

Length is 60 m

  • If perimeter of a rectangular field is 194 m and it`s Breadth is 37 m . Find its Length .

  • Let's The breadth is 'x'

 \\  \sf \: ⟼ \: 2(length  + breadth) \\  \sf \:  = 2(x + 37) = 194 \\  =  \sf \: 2x + 74 = 194 \\  =  \sf \: 2x = 194 - 74 = 120 \\     \sf \: x =  \frac{120}{2}   \\ \sf \: x = 60

Hence the length is 60 meter.

Verification :-

 \sf \: ⟼2(length  + breadth) \\  = 2(60 + 37) \\  = 2(97) \\  = 194

Hence Verified .....
