Perimeter of square = 4 × side

=> 48 = 4 × side

=> side = 48/4

=> side = 12m

Area of the square = (side)² = 12²

= 144 m²

Given:-

  • Perimeter of square = 48m

To Find:-

  • It's Area

Formula used:-

  • Perimeter of square = 4 × Side

  • Area of Square = Side × Side

Solution:-

Firstly,

\implies\:Perimeter \:of\: square\: = 4 × Side

\implies\:48 = 4 × Side

\implies\:Side\:= \dfrac{48}{4}

{\boxed{\implies\: Side\:= 12m}}

Now,

\implies\:Area \:of\: square\: = Side × Side

\implies\:Area \:of\: square\: = 12 × 12

{\boxed{\implies\:Area \:of\: square\: = 144 m^2}}

Hence, The Area of the given Square is 144 .
