\star{ANSWER-}

The person is suffering from hypermetropia. He can't see things close by. A normal human's near point is 25cm. But he can't see within 50cm itself.

REASONS:-

  1. The eye ball becomes small
  2. The focal length of the eye increases

WHAT HAPPENS?

In a normal human eye, the image is formed on the retina, but in a hypermetopic eye, image is formed behind the retina

HOW TO CORRECT IT ?

It can be corrected using convex lens. This helps to bring thr image back on the retina.

ADDITIONAL INFO.

A person suffering from hypermetropia prefers to remove glasses while looking at far off objects. This is because, our eye lens are convex in nature, even the lens worn in covex. Hence it provides addtional foccusing which makes the far off object blurry
