No of 10 rupee coin =50000

Step-by-step explanation:

Let 100 rupee be 100x

Given :-

  • Ratio of 100,50 and 10 notes is 2:3:5
  • Total amount is Rs 40,000

To Find :-

  • Number of each note.

Solution :-

Let the no. of notes of 100, 50 and 10 be 2x , 3x and 5x respectively.

Amount of Rs 100 notes = 100 × 2x = 200x

Amount of Rs 50 notes = 50 × 3x = 150 x

Amount of Rs 10 notes = 10 × 5x = 50 x

A. T. Q

200x + 150x + 50x = 40000

400x = 40000

x =  \frac{40000}{400}

x = 100

No. of Rs 100 notes = 2 × 100 = 200

No. of Rs 50 notes = 3 × 100 = 300

No. of Rs 10 notes = 5 × 100 = 500
