The person in the bus is at rest with respect to the other passengers but the same person in the same bus and at the same time is in motion with respect to the trees outside.This is because no body in this universe is at rest.So both motion and rest are relative terms.

if a person is sitting in bus..he is in rest..as the bus is moving so we can say that a person in a moving bus
