Mass

Mass is the content inside the object which remains same everywhere.

Here mass = 10 kg on Earth

So the words 'On earth' wont matter here since mass will remain same even on Moon.

Value of g on Earth = 9.8 m/s^2

Since we know that,

Weight = Gravitational Force

Gravitational force = mg

Weight = mg

Weight = 10 kg × 9.8 m/s^2

Weight = 98 N

Answer : 98 N

shailu34: Mass is given as 10 kg.

Therefore, Weight = 10 kg * 9.8 m/s^2.

Weight = 98 kg.m/s^2. = 98 Newtons.

Hope you got your answer. Thanks a lot..
