If a person's mobile phone was designed to work with 4G technology, what will happen when a 5G network is rolled out in their area?
They will still have service through the 4G network for at least several years.
Their phone will only work when they are out of range of any 5G networks.
They will lose service as the 4G network is deactivated to make room for the 5G network.
Their phone will automatically upgrade itself to work with the new 5G network.

When a 5G network is rolled out in the area, the person will have service through the 4G network for at least several years.

  • When the 5G network is rolled out, it will take a long time to develop the setup including towers and network systems.
  • It does not have a wide range and is suitable for urban areas.
  • Once set up, the devices will have to be upgraded to use the 5G networks.
  • The 5G network works perfectly on high frequencies and also allows using 4G, 3G, other networks.
