As the person takes bread and butter in breakfast he takes a diet which is rich in fats. Fats are digested in the body by first converting them into simple sugars in the mouth and then their actual digestion takes place through the secretion of bile juice from liver.

bread consists of carbohydrate whereas butter consists of fat.

Explanation:

  • The bread is digested by the salivary amylase which is present in The Saliva. In addition to this the gastric amylase also helps in the digestion of the carbohydrate.
  • The fat which is present in water is first emulsified by the bile which is secreted by the gallbladder. Then the lipase enzyme acts on it to convert it into fatty acid and glycerol.  the food is absorbed from the small intestine.
