In 30 meter ----- a boy goes 1 minute

Here 30 is the distance

And 1 minute is the time

Next given speed is :

30 meter in 1.5 minute

Distance = 30 m

Time = 1.5 minute

So first, add the distance

30+30 =60 metre

And then

Add the time

1+1.5= 2.5 min

For your convenience, convert the minute into second, i.e.

2.5×60 (hence, 1minute= 60 second )

= 150 second

We know,

speed= distance/ time

Speed= 60/150

= 2/5

Now convert 2/5 into decimal

2÷5 = 0.4 m/s

Answer = 0.4 m/s

Distance= 600m  \\ </p><p>Time= 1 minutes \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:= 60 seconds</p><p></p><p>

Therefore,

Speed =  \frac{Distance}{Time }   \\  \\ Speed =  \frac{600 \: m}{60 \: sec}  \\  \\ Speed = 10m {s}^{ - 1}
