☯ Pressure exerted by one feet = 240 pa
- Force by feet on the land = 60N
- Area occupied by the feet = 0.25 m²
_______________________
As we know that ,
☞ Pressure = Force ÷ Area
By the given information ,
♦ Force on each feet = 60/2 = 30N
♦ Area occupied by one feet = 0.25/2 = 0.125m²
So ,
⇒ Pressure = 30 ÷ 0.125
⇒ Pressure = 30 ÷ 125/1000
⇒ Pressure = 30 ÷ 25/200
⇒ Pressure = 30 ÷ 5/40
⇒ Pressure = 30 ÷ 1/8
⇒ Pressure = 30 × 8
⇒ Pressure = 240 N/m² or pa
