If a person weighs 750 n on earth how much would be his weight on the moon given that moons mass is 1/ 81 of that of earth and its radius is 1/3.7 of that of earth

Ratio of mass of earth to the moon = Me/Mm=81

Ratio of radius of earth to the moon= Re/Rm = 3.7

W = mg = 750=mGMe/Re

m= 750Re2/Game ....1

Weight on moon = mGMm/Rm

= 750Re2/GMe×GMm/Rm2 .... From 1

= 750× Re2/Rm2 × Mm/ Me = 750× (3.7)× (3.7)× 1/81 = 126.8 N
