If a person while looking at full moon through a telescope how would the appearance of moon be changed by covering half of the objective lens?​

still he will observe the full image of moon but it's brightness is reduced, as the intensity of light depends upon the diameter of the objective lens. Therefore, the intensity of light received from the moon will decrease.
