If a plane is inclined at an angle 5o with the horizontal and a cylindrical metal is allowed to roll between two fixed height 92cm apart on the plane. Given that the acceleration of the cylinder should be (2gSinθ/3). [Take g as 9.8m/s2] What exactly is the acceleration of the cylinder?

0.61 second is the correct answer to the give question .

Explanation:

As mention in the question

The inclination of the plane, i.e θ = 50°

Also given the Height i.e h1 = s1 = 92 cm

= 0.92 m

Given g = 9.8 m/s²

The Acceleration of the cylinder is given as

Acceleration\ (a)=\frac{2}{3} \ * g *sin\theta

where g= gravity

By using the 2nd equation of the motion that is written as

s\  =  \frac{1}{2} * a \ * t^{2}

0.92 \ = (9.8  *  sin\  \frac{50}{3})  * t^{2}

= t^{2}  = \frac{2.76}{9.8*0.76}

=t^{2}  = 0.37

=t = 0.61 second

Therefore the acceleration of the cylinder=0.61 second
