photosynthesis is done with the help of sun at night there is no sunlight

Photosynthesis takes place during the dat as well as at night but tge only difference is that during the day, due to the presence of light, photosynthesis takes place at a faster pace compared to that at night.Plants respire everytime (inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide) but it is most evidently seen at night because of the slow pace of photosynthesis.
Therefore it is not correct to say that plants when respire don't photosynthesise.
