If a plant kept in the cupboard for 2 days is tested for the starch test, what would be the result?

Answer:

If you take the leaf from a plant kept away from sunlight for more than 2 days, there woupd be no photosynthesis occuring.

Thus the leaf would show negative for starch since no glucose production would rake place in absence of sunlight
