If a plant releases carbon dioxide and takes oxygen in day time, whether there is photosynthesis is taking place or not . Justify?

No,plants take carbon dioxide and release oxygen as non usage materials in process of photosynthesis but as neem , tamarind tree's etc . release in night time in absence of sunlight
