If a point Q lies between two points P and R such that PQ = QR, then prove that PQ = 1/2 PR, Explaing by drawing the figure.

=> PR = PQ + QR

now given PQ = QR

=> PR = PQ + PQ

=> PR = 2PQ

=> PQ = PR/2

Draw a line segment PR

Find mid point of  PR and label it Q

Take a compass & take length till QP from Q and then check if it goes upto QR

it goes => PQ = QR
