if a point R lies between two points p and a such
that PR = Q R then prove that PR = 1 / 2 PQ.
Explain by drawing the figure.​

Answer:

Given, R lies between P and Q.

P--------------R---------------Q

Say, PQ length is l.

PR length is x.

RQ length is y.

Given, PR = QR. That means x = y.

And PQ = PR + RQ.

=> l = x + x

=> l = 2*x

=> x = 1/2(l)

or PR = 1/2(PQ)

Hence proved.
