Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:p(x)=q x g(x) + r         [p(x) =polynomial, q= quotient, r= remainder]

Step-by-step explanation:

by formula:-

x4+2x³+8x²+12x+18= (x²+5)q + r

x4+2x³+8x²+12x+18 divided by x²+5 =q+r

Now divide:-

                 x²+2x+3

x²+5         )x4+2x³+8x²+12x+18

               -x4        -5x²

                  2x³ +3x² +12x +18

                 -2x³          -10x

                        3x² +2x +18

                        -3x²        -15

                                2x +3

So after dividing we get 2x+3

Hence, px+q = 2x+3

So p=2 and q=3
