D.100 per hour as there were 50 and after 1 hour it was 150 so 150-50=100

Growth rate of population is 100 per hour.

Initial population of paramecium in pond =50

Final population of paramecium in pond =150

Increase in population of paramecium=(final-initial) population.

=(150-50)=100

Time in which population increase=1hour.

So increase in population of paramecium in one hour is 100 per hour .

●paramecium divide by binary fission so they double their number in one division.
