Solution:

Amount(A)=RS.3150

Time(T)=4 years

Rate(R)=10%

Principal(p)=?

Now,

P=A×100/100+TR

=3150×100/100+4×10

=Rs.3190

So, The principal is Rs.3190.

Given :

  • Amount = Rs.3150
  • Rate = 10 %
  • Time = 4 years

To Find :

  • Principal = ?

 \\ \qquad{\rule{200pt}{2pt}}

SolutioN :

 \dag Formula Used :

  •  {\underline{\boxed{\pmb{\sf{ Principal = \dfrac{Amount \times 100}{100 + Rate \times Time} }}}}}

 \\ \\

 \dag Calculating the Principal :

 \begin{gathered} \qquad \; \longrightarrow \; \; \sf { Principal = \dfrac{Amount \times 100}{100 + Time \times Rate} } \\ \\ \\ \end{gathered}

 \begin{gathered} \qquad \; \longrightarrow \; \; \sf { Principal = \dfrac{3150 \times 100}{100 + 4 \times 10} } \\ \\ \\ \end{gathered}

 \begin{gathered} \qquad \; \longrightarrow \; \; \sf { Principal = \dfrac{315000}{100 + 4 \times 10} } \\ \\ \\ \end{gathered}

 \begin{gathered} \qquad \; \longrightarrow \; \; \sf { Principal = \dfrac{315000}{100 + 40} } \\ \\ \\ \end{gathered}

 \begin{gathered} \qquad \; \longrightarrow \; \; \sf { Principal = \dfrac{315000}{140} } \\ \\ \\ \end{gathered}

 \begin{gathered} \qquad \; \longrightarrow \; \; \sf { Principal = \cancel\dfrac{315000}{140} } \\ \\ \\ \end{gathered}

 \begin{gathered} \qquad \; \longrightarrow \; \; {\underline{\boxed{\pmb{\sf { Principal = Rs. \; 2250 }}}}} \; {\pmb{\green{\bigstar}}} \\ \\ \\ \end{gathered}

 \\ \\

 \therefore \; The Principal is Rs.2250 .
