For this question, the correct answer is the flagellum. The flagellum (plural; flagella) is a whip-like or thread-like structure that propels the cell for locomotion. There is another way that a prokaryote can move, with the use of another organelle that is described as short projections called cilia.

The prokaryotic organisms are not developed. So they will certainly use their "cilia" or "flagella" for their locomotion. Cilia are the short projections and Flagella are the whip-like structures.
