Step-by-step explanation:

here,

a=p,

b= -2√5p,

c= 15

equal roots ⇒ b² - 4ac = 0

⇒( -2√5 p)² - 4×p×15 =0

⇒ -4×5×p² - 60p =0

⇒ -20p²- 60p =0

take 20 p outside,

⇒ 20p (p-3) = 0

⇒ 20p=0, p-3 = 0

⇒ p=0     , p=3

if we substitute p = 0 in the above equ. , the whole equ become zero.

so it is not possible to substitute p=0

∴ p = 3

value of p is 3
