let the radius be 7cm

now area = πr^2 = 22/7*7*7 = 22*7 = 154 cm ^2

now according to question :-

radius increased by 100%:-

so New radius = (100% of 7)+7 = 7+7 = 14 CM

now new area = πr^2 = 22/7*14*14 = 22*2*14 = 616cm^2

now area increase in number = 616-154 = 462

now percentage increase = 462/154*100 = 300%
