If a ray of light propagating in air strikes a glass slab at an angle of 60 degree with the surface of the slab,what is the angle of refraction ?

L = sin i by sin r

1.5 = sin 30 by sin r

3 by 2 = sin 30 by sin sin r

sin r = 1/2 by 3/2 two and two are cancled

sin r = 1 by 3

r = sin² ( 1/3)

r = 19.472

∴ Hence Proved
