Let the breadth(b) of the rectangular field be 'x' m.

Therefore, the length of the rectangular field(l) = (x+26)m

Given, the perimeter of the rectangular field = 400 m

⇒2(l+b)=400

⇒(l+b)=200

⇒(x+26+x)=200

⇒2x+26=200

⇒2x=200-26

⇒2x=174

⇒x=87

Therefore, the breadth of the rectangular field(b)=x=87m

And the length of the rectangular field
