=144+25
=169
so diagonal^2=169
diagonal=square root of 169
=13cm ans

Therefore AB^2+BC^2=AC^2

12^2+5^2=AC^2

AC^2=144+25

AC^2=169

AC=13

Therefore diagonal is 13cm
