Answer :

  • Length of Diagonal is 25cm

Given :

  • length is 20cm
  • Breadth is 15cm

To find :

  • length of Diagonal

Solution :

Let Diagonal of rectangle be x

As we know that , Pythagoras theorem,

  • (D)² = (l)² + (b)²

where d is Diagonal, l is length and b is breadth

  • Diagonal be x
  • length is 20cm
  • breadth is 15cm

⇢ (D)² = (l)² + (b)²

⇢ x² = (20)² + (15)²

⇢ x² = 400 + 225

⇢ x² = 625

⇢ x = √625

⇢ x = 25

Hence , Length of Diagonal is 25cm
