Given:-

  • Radius of the circular cone = 4cm.
  • Stant height of the circular cone = 5cm.

To find:-

  • Find the volume of cone.?

Solutions:-

  • Let the height of the cone be 'h' cm.

By using Pythagoras theorem,

=> l² = r² + h²

=> (5)² = (4)² + h²

=> 25 = 16 + h²

=> 25 - 16 = h²

=> 9 = h²

=> √9 = h

=> 3 = h

=> h = 3cm

  • Height = 3cm

So,

  • Volume of cone = 1/3 πr²h

=> 1/3 × 22/7 × (4)² × 3

=> 22/7 × 16

=> 352/7

=> 50.28cm³

Hence, the volume of the cone is 50.28cm.

More Important:-

Right circular cone:-

  • h = height of cone
  • r = Radius of cone
  • s = slant height

  • Volume = 1/3πr²h
  • Lateral surface area = πr √r²+h²
  • Total surface area = πr² + πr √r²+h²
