ANSWER

v = \pi\:r{}^{2}  \frac{h}{3}  \\ l =  \sqrt{r{}^{2}+h {}^{2}}  \\ v =  \frac{1}{3} \pi \: r {}^{2}  \sqrt{l {}^{2} - r {}^{2}}  \\  \frac{1}{3}  \times \pi \times 4 {}^{2}  \times  \sqrt{5 {}^{2} - 4 {}^{2}  }  \\  = 50.26

Answer:

Please refer to the answer below.

Step-by-step explanation:

Volume of cone = 1/3πr²h

Given that,

  • Slant Height (l) = 5cm
  • Radius of the cone = 4cm

So we need to find the hieght of the cone to get the answer,

height = l²-r²

ie, 5²-4² = 25-16 = 9 = 3

Now volume will be,

1/3πr²h

= 1/3 x 22/7 x 4² x 3

= 1/3 x 22/7 x 16 x 3

= 1 x 22/7 x 16 ( 1/3 and 3 is cancelled)

= 22/7 x 16 = 352/7 = 50.285
