Volume of cone=1/3πrsquare×5
1232=1/3×22/7×rsquare×24
rsquare=1232×3×7/1×22×24
rsquare =49
therefore r=7
curved surface area of cone=πr(r+l)
=22/7×7(7+24)
=22/7×7×31
=682

GiVen :-

  • height of the cone =24 cm
  • radius = r cm {say} then

1/3 πr²h = 1232 cm³ [given]

→ r² = 1232 × 3 × 7 /22 × 24 = 49

→ r = 7cm

now , slant height of the cone

= √[7]² + [24]² = 25

surface area of the cone :-

= πrl =22/7×7×25 =550cm²
