Answer:

area of the room=side× side.

=6×8= 48 sq m.

one side of the tile=0.5 m

area of the tile=S ×S

= 0.5 ×0.5= 0.25 sq m

= area of the room/area of the tile.

= 48/0.25

=192 tiles= answer
