If a=root 3+1/root 3 - 1 and b=1/a find the value of a square - b square +ab​

=[(√3-1)/(√3+1)]×[(√3-1)/(√3-1)]

                    

=(3+1-2√3)/(3-1)

                    

=(4-2√3)/2

                    

=[2(2-√3)]/2

                    

=2-√3

a-b√3=2-√3

∴the values of a=2 and b=1

So the values of a and b are 2 and 1 respectively.
