let income of b be x

then,

a=10%b+b

=10%x+x

=11x/10

now , a-b will be the difference

=11x/10-x

=x/10

so b's income is 1/10 less than a

ON CONVERTING TO %

=1/10×100%

=10%

SO B'S INCOME IS 10% LESS THAN A.
