25% of salary B is more than the A’s salary.

Solution:

Let salary of B is Rs.100, the 20% of B

=\frac{20}{100} \times 100

=20.

As per given condition the salary of A is 20% less than B that means the salary of A = 100-20 =80.

That means the salary of A is Rs.80 if salary of B is Rs.100. such that to find the amount of B which is higher than A is

=B^{\prime} \text { salary }-\frac{\text {A'salary}}{\text {Asalary}} \times 100

=100-\frac{80}{80} \times 100

= \frac{20}{80} \times 100

=\frac{1}{4} \times 100

= 25

Such that the percentage of 25% salary is more than A’s.
