if he earn RS 16 on each book
then, 20 books=(20*16)=rs320.
So,he earns RS 320 on selling 20 books ...(1)
and the other hand,
he loss rs10 on each pen
then, 16 pens =(16*10)=RS 160
So,he losses RS 160 on selling 16 pens.
then, Gain=320 and Loss=160
we have, Gain>loss.
It is clearly that Gain= (320-160)=160.
Overall he Gain RS 160.
then, 20 books=(20*16)=rs320.
So,he earns RS 320 on selling 20 books ...(1)
and the other hand,
he loss rs10 on each pen

Overall he Gain RS 160.
